About

Our Vision

We desire to Bless everyone we have the privilege of coming in contact with. We are called to treat our neighbors as ones who have been created with the image of God. We desire to grow in our Belief and trust in Jesus. Each Sunday we spend time seeking understanding of the Scriptures and what their significance might mean for us today. We embrace that church should involve relationships and belonging, and not merely weekly attendance.

Our Values

Bless

Our mode of evangelism is to bless and love our neighbors. Our heart is as we love , serve, and bless our neighbors they might ask us the reason why? If that occurs it is our honor to give an answer for the hope we have.
1 Peter 3:15.

Believe

Our Sunday morning gathering is centered on our community growing in our trust of Jesus. While we have coffee, doughnuts, and a lot of silliness, significant time is devoted to seeking God through the Scriptures, prayer, and singing.

Belong

We have community groups which meet during the week. These groups focus on supporting one another through the challenges of life along with discussing the previous Sunday sermon. We desire our sermons to not merely an academic exercise, but contain a real life application and impact.

Our Beliefs

Jesus

Jesus Christ is God’s Son, fully divine and fully human, the eternal and pre-existent Word.

The Bible

The Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments Scriptures, is the divinely inspired and trustworthy authority for faith and practice.

The Trinity

That there is only one true and eternal God consisting of three co-equal persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Humanity

God created humankind in the divine image. Every individual is valuable of extreme worth and invited to be a son/daughter in the Kingdom.

Salvation

God offers forgiveness of sin and justification through faith in Christ Jesus apart from works.

Kyle Privia

Youth Leader

Kyle was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California, where he started attending church as a youth group student in his freshmen year of High School at a church in Huntington Beach. It was there he would meet Pastor Evan and Kyle would gain a desire to be involved with church and help out whenever needed. In 2016 Kyle attended Hope International University where he would study Biblical Studies and Church Ministry, also in 2016 he started as an intern for a church as a youth leader. He would eventually start attending and volunteering for Crossroads in late 2017 and Crossroads has been his home ever since! He would join the staff in November 2023.

When Kyle was a newborn, he was born with a condition called Ventricular Septal Defect, to summarize it was a hole in his heart and was not expected to make it, his Mom started praying and started calling other churches asking them to pray. The moment they brought his mom in to say her goodbye, Kyle showed miraculous improvement, and the next X-Ray showed that his heart was fully healed! Kyle has since lived a healthy life and thanks the Lord every day! Growing up Kyle’s youth group experience was very important to him, it provided him with a safe and fun experience around him. He believes that it helped him nurture his relationship with the Lord. Kyle had grown up going to church in his child years but did not feel a connection with the Lord until High School while attending Youth Group it was then he realized that the lord had been with him his whole life and that he just needed a little nudge to help him see that, and he wants to help provide that little nudge to others around him especially students. Kyle now has a heart for serving and helping others realize their potential in gaining a relationship with the Lord!

Outside of ministry Kyle enjoys playing and watching Baseball and Basketball, he is an avid fan of the Lakers and Angels. He also really enjoys watching movies, going to theme parks, museums, hanging out with family and friends, and reading about, watching, or looking at history, he takes a huge interest in learning about any different historical item or even the most obscure or random history knowledge and if he does not know it you have piqued his interest, and he will look it up..
